New Aveve store opens in Dessel

Aveve, the strong consumer brand of Arvesta, will open a brand-new store at a new location in Dessel on 19 September. The former store on Kwademeer was due for renewal and is now replaced by a fresh, spacious new building located on Turnhoutsebaan.

The new store covers no less than 1,500 m², including a 300 m² greenhouse, and offers an expanded plant assortment. Customers can expect a much broader range than before, along with expert advice from our passionate Aveve team. From now on, the store will also be open continuously on Saturdays.

In addition to the wide product range, the shopping experience is central: workshops, demonstrations, and inspiring presentations make Aveve Dessel a place where garden enthusiasts and animal lovers feel right at home.

Festive Opening Weekend

During the festive opening weekend (19–21 September 2025), the store will exceptionally be open on Sunday as well:

Friday 19 September: 08:30–18:00
Saturday 20 September: 08:30–17:00
Sunday 21 September: 10:00–16:00

A Warm Welcome to Customers from Retie

Leen, Kris, and Wim De Schutter, the operators of the new store in Dessel, warmly welcome customers from the former Aveve store in Retie. In Dessel, they’ll find a familiar alternative with the same warm service they’ve come to expect. The Aveve store in Retie closed earlier this year due to the retirement of the previous owners — the parents of Leen, Kris, and Wim De Schutter.

A New Building with a Vision for the Future

The De Schutter family in Dessel — Leen, Kris, and Wim — are looking ahead. They’ve seized the opportunity to create a completely new site in a beautiful location near the center of Dessel. Thanks to its ideal accessibility, the store and agricultural activities can be perfectly combined.

With its brand-new design, including a greenhouse facing the street that seamlessly connects to the agricultural buildings, Aveve Dessel is even more focused on customer comfort and shopping pleasure.
