John Deere: best-selling tractor for second year in a row
For the second year in a row, John Deere Belgium achieves first place for most registered agricultural tractor in 2023. This makes John Deere the best-selling tractor over 50 hp in Belgium for two consecutive years. In addition, John Deere is also the market leader in large tractors (+150 hp) for the third year in a row.
John Deere, in its familiar green-yellow, has existed for over a century as a specialist in agricultural machinery, as well as machinery for the maintenance of parks, gardens and forestry. These sturdy tractors distinguish themselves from the competitors by their state-of-the-art machines, a qualitative and high-quality finish, the excellent after-sales network, but above all in their know-how in sustainable precision agriculture.
Smartfarming
"It is no coincidence that John Deere takes this front-runner position," says Lieven Beyl, group sales & marketing director at Cofabel.
Cofabel is the exclusive distributor of John Deere in Belgium and one of Arvesta's strong brands.
"John Deere not only stands for top quality machinery at a competitive price. They are also the cream of the crop in terms of sustainable innovation in smartfarming or precision agriculture. Just think of Arvesta's innovative Varicare. Thanks to this precision farming system on John Deere tractors, fewer inputs are needed by the farmer."
John Deere has always been at the forefront of technology. Precision farming is an important part of the brand's development. Once task maps are generated, we integrate them directly into John Deere tractors through the My JohnDeere service. This ensures that crops get the exact dose of fertilizer, seeds and plants they need. This is a more sustainable way of working: better for the planet and with increased yields for the farmer.
Competitive
In the 2023 sales statistics, we find John Deere in first place, accounting for 415 registered farm tractors.
"We are very pleased with these results for 2023. It is a well-deserved culmination of the tireless efforts of the Cofabel team and the John Deere dealer network," according to Lieven Beyl.
John Deere carries its global image as a highly competitive brand with a very strong customer experience and loyalty. In Belgium, we have been building our market position for years through a combination of good products, a scaled-up dealer network and quality service with excellent after-sales service.
