Cofabel continues to expand and acquires Martens Traktor Bree

Leuven, July 23, 2024 - Cofabel, the Belgian dealer for John Deere, Kramer and other premium machinery brands, as well as the strong brand of agricultural expert Arvesta, further expands its network and announces the acquisition of Martens Traktor in Bree. ​

Martens Traktor has a rich history dating back to 1880, making it an important company in Bree and, by extension, in Limburg.

Luc Sterckx, Director Machinery at Arvesta, explains: "We are delighted to announce that we have reached an agreement concerning the acquisition of Martens Traktor by Cofabel. This gives Cofabel a solid distribution point in the Limburg region. In the coming months, Martens Traktor will become a John Deere and Kramer dealer. The team involved will receive the training and support they need to integrate into John Deere as quickly as possible".

From now on, Martens Traktor will operate under the trade name "Cofabel Bree". Jean Knevels, the original owner, will remain in charge as Site Manager, and all current employees will transfer to Cofabel.
