Arvesta gets new CFO
From 1 April 2025, Kris Geysels will hand over his role as Chief Financial Officer at Arvesta to current Shared Service Director Jurgen Van Eetvelde.
Jurgen joined Arvesta in 2017 and successfully established its Shared Service Centre. Prior to this, he held various managerial roles as Director Controlling and Finance at USG People, among others. From now on, Jurgen will lead a strong finance team that Kris set up during the past six years at Arvesta.
Kris Geysels will remain active at Arvesta after 1 April in the new position of Director Greenhouse and M&A. In this role, he will keep responsibility for the greenhouse activities with the intention of continuing its successful growth trajectory. In addition, Kris will also lead the M&A projects and help shape a number of strategic business projects.
These changes contribute to Arvesta's strategic growth ambitions. ‘We are proud of the internal talent development that makes these changes possible, and look confidently to the future,’ said CEO Niek Depoorter.
